Academic Policies

At Alley College of Law, all students are expected to follow the rules and regulations designed to maintain discipline, academic excellence, and a respectful learning environment. Any violation of these policies will result in disciplinary action.

General Conduct​

  • Students must adhere to the college dress code. Any violation will lead to disciplinary measures.
  • Smoking, drug use, or possession of shisha is strictly prohibited within the college premises.
  • Misbehavior or misconduct with faculty or administrative staff will result in disciplinary action by the committee.
  • Acts such as writing on walls, chalking, or spray painting are strictly forbidden. Offenders will face strict consequences.
  • Students are required to carry their college ID card at all times while on campus.

Attendance & Presence​

  • Students must remain within the college premises during working hours. Leaving without permission will make them accountable for disciplinary action.
  • Participation in political, sectarian, or partisan activities is prohibited inside the college.
  • Students must maintain at least 75% attendance in their classes to be eligible for final examinations. Emergencies, sickness, or urgent matters are already adjusted within the 25% allowed absence limit. No leave applications, medical certificates, or emergency requests will be entertained beyond this margin.

Property & Discipline​

  • Any damage to college property (including furniture, fixtures, library books, classrooms, or plantation) will be treated as misconduct.
  • Violations of these policies, whether by an individual or a group of students, will be reported to the principal and referred to the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee for action.
